Ms. Judy Burton is a results-driven, environmental and natural resources professional with excellent problem-solving and management skills working in both the public and private sectors. With over 30 years of experience, she has successfully directed complex public and private projects with multiple regulatory agencies and varied stakeholders.

SUMMARY: Judy has expanded environmental and natural resource practices for organizations by addressing communities needs for improved water and natural resource management including the integration of green infrastructure into public and private initiatives. She is skilled at developing marketing and business strategies to leverage organizational and staff capabilities across technical disciplines to pursue opportunities and expand services. Major strengths include technical competencies in environmental documentation, ecological planning and assessment, regulatory permitting, wetlands and resource mitigation activities, and green stormwater infrastructure(GSI).

Judy has held responsible positions with both private consulting and public organizations, including within the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Use Regulation where she was responsible for providing guidance and regulatory review for major public projects throughout New Jersey. While with the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (now the Sports and Exposition Authority), Judy was responsible for the implementation of the District's multi-million-dollar wetlands mitigation projects and tidal marsh restoration activities. These initiatives achieved improvements to natural and water resources, as well as contributing to the overall livability and economy of a highly urbanized region.
